Guarantee
We offer you a 12 month guarantee on all our products unless stated otherwise. Your guarantee covers you against manufacturing faults to the item, however it does not include the glass supplied with sets. Please note that extreme UK temperatures may cause the product material to contract and expand, consequently leading to damage or cracking, once the guarantee has expired, this damage and cracking will not be covered. The guarantee is valid from the date of delivery to the original customer purchasing from this website only (please contact the original retailer if you purchased your item elsewhere). Proof of purchase is required. This guarantee excludes our clearance ranges.
Claiming on your guarantee:
If you need to make a claim, please contact us with specific details about the issue.
When claiming:
- Proof of purchase is required (original sales receipt including purchase date).
- We may request images to best assist you with the claim.
- Your guarantee covers a replacement part service should a fault occur during the guarantee period.
- We reserve the right to use alternative, similar materials, where the original is no longer available.
- If your product cannot be repaired, we will replace it with the same model or a substitute of an equivalent specification or value. We will only replace parts or individual items, we do not offer full set replacements.
Your guarantee won’t cover:
- Damage or cracking if the product has not been adequately protected in adverse and extreme UK weather conditions.
- If there is evidence of product abuse, misuse or use in a non-domestic environment.
- If the product has not been properly maintained in accordance with care instructions including covering and storing the product when not in use.
- If the cushions have been subject to adverse and extreme weather conditions due to failure to store cushions indoors when furniture is not in use.
- Deliberate damage, neglect, abuse or not looking after your product.
- Fair wear and tear, damage caused by general ageing of the product caused by normal use. Items with steel components may be subject to rusting over time.
- If the product is in an unsanitary condition (for example, caused by pets). We reserve the right to refuse to collect and/or dispose of any unsanitary products.
- If the product has been exported outside of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

- Items from the Outdoor Clearance section.

We are often asked what the options are once the guarantee has expired and have complied some suggestions below:
- If it relates to glass, you may wish to contact your local glass glazier.
- If it relates to wood, we recommend purchasing a high quality hardwood sealer oil *the oil will vary depending on type of hardwood.
- If rust is evident, to protect the structural integrity of your metal, please consider purchasing rust inhibitor paint
- Where available, you may wish to contact us for a chargeable replacement.
- Contact your home insurance provider.

At Royalcraft, we design our pergolas to be enjoyed for years to come. Our warranty reflects the quality of our materials, engineering, and commitment to outdoor living, while recognising the realities of outdoor use and integrated technology.
This warranty applies to domestic, residential use within the UK only.
1. Warranty Periods Structural Framework
5-Year Warranty
Covers:
- Aluminium posts, beams, roof structure and fixed louvre components
- Structural integrity against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
This does not cover cosmetic changes that occur naturally over time due to outdoor exposure.
Powder-Coated Finish
2-Year Warranty
Covers:
- Peeling, blistering or flaking of the powder coating caused by manufacturing defects
Excludes:
- Fading, chalking, or colour variation caused by UV exposure, weathering, or pollution
- Minor surface marks, scratches or wear consistent with outdoor use
Motorised & Mechanical Components
2-Year Warranty
Covers:
- Motors controlling roof or louvre movement
- Mechanical moving parts supplied by Royalcraft
The warranty applies to manufacturing defects only and assumes correct operation in line with care guidelines.
Electrical & Smart Components
2-Year Warranty
Covers:
- Integrated LED lighting systems
- Control units, transformers and wiring supplied by Royalcraft
- Remote control systems
- Voice-control or smart-home integration modules (where supplied)
Electrical components are covered against manufacturing defects only.
2. What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Faults that arise under normal, intended residential use
- Replacement or repair of defective components (at Royalcraft’s discretion)
Where a component is no longer available, a suitable alternative of equal value may be supplied.
3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic changes due to weather exposure (including fading or surface oxidation)
- Damage caused by extreme weather conditions (including storms, flooding, snow load, high winds or hail)
- Failure caused by misuse, neglect, accidental damage or improper operation
- Damage caused by operating the pergola in unsafe weather conditions
- Issues arising from poor or non-approved installation
- Electrical faults caused by power surges, incorrect wiring, or non-IP-rated external connections
- Modifications, repairs or alterations carried out by third parties
- Commercial, rental or shared-use installations unless otherwise agreed in writing
4. Installation & Electrical Requirements
To remain valid:
- Pergolas must be installed in accordance with Royalcraft installation guidelines
- Outdoor electrical supply must meet appropriate UK safety and IP-rating standards
Failure to meet these requirements may invalidate the electrical and mechanical warranty.
5. Making a Warranty Claim
To make a claim, please contact Royalcraft Customer Services (customerservices@royalcraft.co.uk) with:
- Proof of purchase
- Date of installation
- Description of the issue
- Supporting photos or videos where applicable
All claims will be assessed fairly and in line with this warranty.
